Result 2nd Match

MK Storm vs Solihull

This was a good defensive effort from MK Storm who struggled against some strong lines for Solihull who had depth throughout.

The team got caught out by some neat play on the changeover on line 3. This saw Solihull beak away and score. Solihull utilised this a number of times to good effect.

MK Storm responded with every line giving it their all and fighting to stay in the game. A fantastic effort from Tonks all afternoon saw him leaving the ice like he had been running a marathon putting every last bit of effort in to support his team. McEwan, Nüth and Iacono were coming off the ice the same which shows the amount of effort they put in to keep MK Storm in the game.

Late on great work clearing the line from M Calvert kept the puck up the Solihull end and clever skilful skating of Truong made sure MK Storm kept possession and kept creating chances.

An amazing effort from MK Storm.
